About Lila Nikole

The Lila Nikole Collection is quickly becoming one of the fastest rising brands in the swimwear industry. After making the transition from Amaya Swimwear in 2009, the newly vamped swimwear brand has only moved in one direction, forward. With each passing year, the momentum continues to build as a direct result from the effort, creativity and fashion forward instincts of the designer, Lila Nikole Rivera.
The Lila Nikole Collection has graced the pages of such magazine publications as Elle, Fitness RX, 944, The Source, Ebony, Vibe and many more. She has worked with a great number of celebrities from Will Smith, Kim Kardashian, Jenny McCarthy, Keyshia Cole, and Trey Songz, to Chris Brown, Selita Banks, Tocarra Jones, and Sean “Diddy” Combs which resulted in her becoming labeled as the celebrity’s favorite swimwear designer. The list continues to grow.
After the tremendous traffic that poured to her website from her third appearance on BET’s Rip The Runway in 2011, with hits numbering in the hundreds of thousands, the Lila Nikole Collection became a recognizable brand throughout the country. The demand and orders quickly followed and every major swimwear events began reaching out to feature Lila Nikole’s collection in their shows, including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim. From there, her collection has been featured on CNN Español, on Fashion TV for Best Swimwear, she provided suits for all the gorgeous ladies in competition on Nuestro Belleza Latina airing on Univision, and even Sports Illustrated expressed their interest in working with the up and coming swimwear designer for their always in demand and highly anticipated swimwear issue. If that wasn’t enough, Lila is now in collaboration with the NFL after teaming up with the Miami Dolphins to provide swimwear for the cheerleader’s swimsuit calendar, and a host of other teams have now opted for the same.
The Lila Nikole Collection was a vision, built from the ground up into a successful business on the drive and initiative of the designer, and Lila Nikole’s journey of success that created a powerful swimwear brand has not gone unnoticed. Her ability to build her company to where it is, made her a subject of interest in a collegiate psychology class, becoming one of the subject features in the latest edition of the Feldman University Psychology Course Text Book.
Lila Nikole’s ability as a designer to provide a product that blends the mainstream industry fashion trends of a corporate powerhouse, with the quality and care of a family owned business, has developed a strong loyal customer base, and always keeps them coming back. Every suit is made with the customer in mind and that same compassion has made the Lila Nikole Collection not just successful in business, but in the nature of giving back as well. Being involved with such charities and foundations as Make A Wish, Boys & Girls Club of Miami, Food Bank For Hunger NYC, Chapman Partnership for Women and Children, Share Our Strength, and even Miami Dolphins Cystic Fibrosis, Lila Nikole understands that success is not just about what one can achieve for themselves, but also how well they serve others.
