About Lila Nikole

Brand recognition is critical in business, especially when becoming a trend setter. Lila Nikole Rivera is known for being a trend setter. After making the transition from her widely known Amaya Swimwear brand to the new and improved Lila Nikole Collection, the swimwear designer’s ascension hasn’t missed a beat. After introducing the new brand in 2009, Lila has continued to ignite the swimwear industry with each newly designed collection being more stylish than the one before it; a consistency that welcomed her back on BET’s Rip The Runway for a third time in 7 shows. Excitingly stylish, exotic, and alluring, this high end line is perfect for any woman who loves to spice up their beach attire with the trendiest, sexiest swimwear.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Lila spent meticulous time perfecting her talent for design and preparing to take her skill to the next level establishing her own company. Shortly thereafter her brand recognition grew to see her swimsuits worn by a number of known celebrities, models, seen in a number of television spots, and her editorial placement would soar as well seeing her uniquely crafted swimwear grace the pages of such magazines as Elle, 944, The Source, King, Ebony, Vibe, JET, J’Adore, and several others.
The Signature line has catered to the media & such celebrities as Kim Kardashian, Tila Tequila, Keyshia Cole, Trina, Vida Guerra, Ja Rule and Jaslene Gonzalez, Jade Cole, Bre, Tocarra Jones & Bianca Golden of America’s Next Top Model.Seeming how the art of fashion and design runs in her blood, her mother being a seamstress and fashion designer herself used to make most of her children’s clothing, it seems only fitting that Lila Nikole would find this her passion, and thrive in it. It is that passion, and love for what she does, that makes her swimwear line so unique, so trendy, and so in demand. After her magnificent showing on BET’s Rip The Runway, which when her segment aired saw hundreds of thousands of hits flood to her website, every major swimwear event began reaching out to Lila to be involved including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim. During this enormous week for swimwear fashion, the Lila Nikole Collection was asked to kick off the opening event week at Funkshion, and was then placed in several events throughout the course of the remaining week.
With her rising success, Lila looks to make the Lila Nikole Collection a front runner in the swimwear industry, and being labeled as celebrity’s favorite swimwear designer, I’d say she is well underway. Her designs become more and more creative, and she always remains ahead of the latest trends. Something her loyal customers all greatly appreciate, and it keeps them coming back every time.Being a close-knit, family owned business, customers know when they are purchasing under the Lila Nikole brand, they are receiving high quality clothing designed specifically with wear and durability in mind. Each piece in the collection is designed by Lila using only the finest materials all hand made and embellished with natural jeweled pieces, wood chunks, and rare gems. If it seems like each piece is made to fit and express the unique personality and style of the individual having the pleasure of wearing it, that’s because it is. Each garment is hand made and not factory processed. The Signature Collection is made in various quantities and then retired not to be restyled again, making them each unique and rare collector’s items.
